• The 3-stage HEF water filtration system is an ideal filtration system for water purification
• Unlike systems that are installed to supply water to a particular tap, (such as reverse osmosis systems), this system filters your water from the source
• This means that the water from each outlet in your home will have gone through the three stages of system filtration
• In the first stage the casing contains a 5 micron high capacity polypropylene sediment filter
• This filter removes dirt and other larger particles from the water that can be clogged by subsequent filters
• In the second and third stage of the system there are carbon block filters from coconut shell CTO 5 micron
• Carbon block is more efficient than other forms of carbon because it is finely ground carbon packed in a solidified block which means that they have a higher density than other types of carbon filters
• Carbon block filters eliminate bad tastes and odors and are combined to remove more than 90% of chlorine from water and are extremely effective in organic chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides and industrial chemicals
• It is recommended that the first filter (5 microns) be changed every 3 months while the other 2 filters (CTO & GAG) be changed every 6 months
